Mullen Burst ASTM D3786 and Puncture D4833 will be removed from Product Data Sheets on January 1, 2010. Neither test method is recognized by AASHTO M288. CBR puncture D6241 has replaced D4833, under AASHTO M288. Mullen Burst is not recognized by D35 committee on Geosynthetics. For more information, please see Geosynthetics magazine.
FunctionsFiltration: Environmental nonwoven geotextiles filter soil particles while allowing excellent water permittivity for structures requiring drainage.
Reinforcement / Stabilization: These nonwoven geotextiles stabilize and support installation equipment and permanently support the long-term stability of environmental systems.
Protection: They can cushion and protect geomembrane lining systems from installation and long-term damage like punctures.
Separation: Environmental nonwovens also perform separation beneath roads, keeping dissimilar materials separated to maintain their functionality.
Drainage: Their high in-place and normal flow rates prevent excess water buildup and pore pressure, keeping civil structures strong and stable.
Product DescriptionThrace-LINQ environmental nonwoven geotextiles provide both strength and quality while meeting the delicate needs of structures that protect the environment. Fashioned from durable polypropylene fibers, our environmental nonwovens are needle-punched and form a strong, thick structure that can ensure the protection and performance of structures like impermeable lining systems.
With our environmental nonwoven geotextiles, you can economically meet federal safety and performance requirements, ensuring faultless protection, separation, stabilization or filtration performance. Thrace-LINQ nonwovens also relieve built-up gas or liquid pressure.
